Product liability: The liability of producers for any injury caused by their products, based on the concept of strict liability, regardless of the chain of supply of the merchandise.
Strict liability: Liability of a person for a wrong caused by his/her act regardless of fault. The plaintiff has to prove only the occurrence of the damage and the liability therefore, but not the intention or the negligence of the wrongdoer.
