For learners of English, disclosure and discloser may sound similar. In fact, they are different terms.
Disclosure is the process under which a person in possession of some confidential information reveals such confidential information to someone else. Disclosure is usually made under circumstances where protection is granted, usually by means of a Non-Disclosure Agreement, which is abbreviated to NDA.
The Discloser is a person who is engaged in the process of disclosure, thus, reveals confidential information to another person. An NDA is generally concluded between two parties, one who discloses the confidential information in question, who is called either the Discloser or the Disclosing Party, and the other to whom such information is disclosed, who is called the Recipient or the Receiving Party.
