Difference between court reporter and cour secretary

Court reporter: A court official in charge of preparing an official record of the proceedings (also called transcript) of a common law trial, either by handwriting, typing or using a specially designed apparatus.

Court secretary: A person working at a court and performing administrative and not legal duties.
