Difference between capacity and resource

Capacity primarily occurs as a noun. Its appearance as an adjective is extremely rare but as an adjective it means filling a space with the most it can hold. As a noun, it refers to the ability to receive or hold something, or to the maximum amount that can be contained. It also refers to the mental ability to learn or retain knowledge, or the ability to make or accomplish something. In legal context, it refers to legal qualification or authority. Resource, on the other hand, relates to something that is available for use, or to an available supply, especially money or natural resources. It also refers to the place that provides something useful.
